What Every Farm Stand is

Every Farm Stand is a free, community-built directory and map that helps people discover local farm stands. It is provided for general informational purposes only. We are not a store, and we do not grow, sell, handle, or deliver any food or products.

Accuracy and availability of listings

Listings are submitted by the community and by stand owners, and may be incomplete, out of date, or inaccurate. Hours, seasons, locations, products, and prices change often, and many farm stands are seasonal or self-serve. Always confirm details directly with a stand before traveling. We do not guarantee that any stand exists, is open, is accessible, or that any information shown is correct.

No responsibility for stands or products

Any visit to or purchase from a farm stand is solely between you and that stand. We are not a party to those transactions and are not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, or labeling of any products (including food safety), for honor-system payments, or for the conduct of any stand or visitor. You assume all risk associated with visiting stands and consuming products you obtain.

Your content

If you submit content (such as a stand listing, suggestion, description, or photo), you represent that you have the right to do so and that it is accurate and not misleading. You retain ownership of your content, and you grant Every Farm Standa non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute it for the purpose of operating and promoting the service. Don't submit content that is false, spammy, infringing, unlawful, or that you don't have permission to share (including photographs taken by someone else).

Acceptable use

• Don't submit fake, misleading, or spam listings.
• Don't impersonate a stand or person you don't represent.
• Don't scrape, overload, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service.
• Don't use the service for any unlawful, harassing, or harmful purpose.

Listings and claims

We review suggestions and claim requests before publishing, but we are not obligated to, and we may add, edit, refuse, or remove any listing at our discretion. Claiming a stand requires that you actually own or are authorized to manage it.

Reporting and takedowns

If a listing is inaccurate, infringes your rights, or shouldn't be published, email hello@everyfarmstand.comand we'll review and remove or correct it where appropriate.

Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or accurate.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Every Farm Stand and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss arising from your use of (or inability to use) the service, your reliance on any listing, your travel to any stand, or any product you obtain from a stand. To the extent any liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to USD $100.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Every Farm Stand and its operators from any claims or expenses arising out of your content, your use of the service, or your violation of these terms.

Third-party services and links

The service relies on and links to third parties (such as Mapbox for maps and individual stand websites). We are not responsible for third-party content or services, which are governed by their own terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
