Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about finding, sharing, and listing local farm stands on Every Farm Stand.
How do I find farm stands near me?+
Open the Every Farm Stand map and allow location access — it will show farm stands closest to you. You can also search any town or address, or browse farm stands by state and city. Each stand listing shows hours, what's in season, payment options, and directions.
What is a farm stand?+
A farm stand is a small, often roadside, point of sale where a farm or grower sells what they produce directly to the public — fresh fruit and vegetables, eggs, honey, flowers, baked goods, and more. Many are self-serve and run on the honor system. They offer fresher, more local food than a grocery store and put money directly into the hands of local growers.
Is Every Farm Stand free to use?+
Yes. Browsing the map and finding farm stands is completely free, and you don't need an account. Suggesting a new stand is also free and takes about a minute.
How do I add or suggest a farm stand?+
Anyone can suggest a stand — no account needed. Tap "Suggest a stand," add a name, drop a pin on the map (or use your current location), snap a photo, and submit. Our team reviews each suggestion before it's added to the map.
I own a farm stand — how do I list or claim it?+
If your stand isn't on the map yet, sign in and choose "List your stand" to create a listing you control. If it's already on the map but unclaimed, open its page and tap "Is this your stand? Claim it" to request ownership. Once claimed, you can manage your photo, hours, products, payment methods, and what's in season.
What can I buy at a farm stand?+
It varies by season and farm, but common offerings include seasonal fruit and vegetables, fresh eggs, local honey, cut flowers, jams and preserves, baked goods, and sometimes meat or dairy. Each listing on Every Farm Stand shows that stand's current products and what's in season.
Are farm stand hours and availability accurate?+
Listings are kept up to date by stand owners and the community. Many farm stands are seasonal or open only on certain days, so we show hours and season status on each listing. If something looks out of date, you can suggest an update.
